Urgent: 5.1 magnitude quake hits U.S. Nevada -- GFZ

BEIJING, May 1 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted the U.S. State of Nevada at 0817 GMT on Friday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 39.42 degrees north latitude and 118.67 degrees west longitude.
